How do you know when you’re truly “ready” to do the inner work? You may think you’re ready, but then find you’re not yet willing or able to endure the hardest parts of the process.
We discuss Michael Singer’s concept of being “ready, willing, and able” in relation to personal growth and spirituality, drawing analogies to real estate, business, and sports. We stress the importance of being open to doing the inner work and being prepared to face the discomfort brought about by personal growth. Once you get past the hardest yet most crucial phase, it’s important to remember that the journey is never over. Life will repeatedly hand us opportunities to learn how to handle discomfort and embrace challenges. The process, while challenging, leads to deeper self-understanding and realization.
