Have you ever wondered how manifesting actually works? Are you supposed to just visualize something and then kick your legs up and let it unfold? Or chase it down like it’s the only thing that matters? This week, Hallie and I talk about what manifesting really is and what it’s not. We discuss the difference between manifesting as a means of control and using it to get clarity that will help you navigate all the twists and turns in the dance of life. Why should we try to manifest our future while both working toward our goal and letting go of the outcome? There’s a reason. Tune in to find out!
In this episode, you will learn about:
- We want you to use the Future Self tool, but we want you to not need the outcome. If that doesn’t make sense, don’t worry, it will!
- When manifesting and playing in the game of life becomes an experience that is an enrichment, you can be more ready for what’s happening in the present moment.
- Why you may use the Future Self tool as a consistent way to point your energy in the right direction.

[3:00] At the core, you can manifest anything you want. The important part is that you don’t do it as a way to make yourself whole or to try and control an outcome or change the world. In business, you need to play in the “doing” world, but the real growth occurs when you let go of personal gain that you think may make you complete.
[4:09] The minute there becomes a need for what you are manifesting, that is when you are doing it for the wrong reasons. You can play with everything in the “doing” world without needing it.
[8:27] You can work on your Future Self tool every day to help with clarity behind the decisions and direction your life is presently in, but it shouldn’t drive your life.
[11:30] When you manifest something to need it, you are saying it in a way that takes you out of the present moment.
[18:41] The absolute truth is seeing everything as one consciousness and wave of energy. You can play on the physical side of life, but know there is much more.
[27:10] Life is a dance, and she’s always in the lead.
[28:04] The challenge with manifestation comes when people hold their desire so tight and rigid that they suffer when it doesn’t show up, or when it shows up and then doesn’t grow or stay the same.
[30:34] The goal is to appreciate the gifts that come in throughout life, without feeling like you need them to be a whole and complete person.
