EPISODE #001
When I decided to start my entrepreneurial journey, I did it for the same reasons most people start businesses: money, fame, and power. But even after I had all of the success I ever dreamed of, I didn’t feel fulfilled. I kind of felt like a failure.
So, I started to ask myself, “Can I connect my business, my achievements, to something larger than myself?” And as I interrogated myself, I found myself aligning with this concept of Business Meets Spirituality.
It’s easy to get lost in the cultural context surrounding a big word like spirituality, but for me, spirituality just means accepting that there’s something much larger than yourself and practicing spirituality is just a journey of personal growth.
A lot of us go all-in on business or all-in on spirituality, and we worry that bringing a little bit of the other into our lives will force us to compromise who we are — but I think you really start to find yourself and greater fulfillment where these two ideas meet. In fact, for most of us, business will be one of the most powerful conduits for personal growth.
But how do we start bridging the two together? That’s one of the big questions that we’re going to explore on this show. Because, as Tony Robbins said, “The quality of your life is a direct reflection of the quality of the questions you are asking yourself.”
I’m still on this journey myself, but I hope you’ll join me in this conversation because I think it’s going to be critical for the growth and evolution of us as individuals and our society as a whole.
