Spiritual Growth Fuels Business Success
How do you have goals and things you want to accomplish yet still remain peaceful, and not get impatient or disheartened if it seems like what you want is taking forever to show up or come to fruition? This week, Hallie and I talk about how to still have goals and stay motivated, but detach from the outcome and surrender to the reality of “now.” We first talk about the idea of how the mind talks us into believing that getting something will make us feel a certain way, and how the emotion we are looking for can come from within us first. We then discuss how to let go of the mental tension when your outer life looks different than what your internal expectations had, and why real spiritual growth can be the hardest path to take but the one that’s going to ultimately give you what your soul desires in both business and spirituality.

[14:25] Real spiritual growth can be very difficult. It’s actually the most difficult thing you can ever do because as you let go of the need for attachments to bring you a certain feeling, there is a certain withdrawal effect that comes with it.
[15:28] Sometimes where you are vs. where you want to be can be a week, or years in between.
[15:28] You need to be committed to letting go of the mental tension that comes with not having whatever you think it is that you want.
[21:17] The more you can be in the world but not of it and surrender, the more life magically starts to give you what’s in your highest and best interest.
[24:43] Accepting needs to happen first before you can get to that next place of peace and let go of the outcome.
[32:05] When you do the real work, you don’t have to compensate.
[35:10] If you have mental tension right now you’re resisting something in your life.
[37:19] When you surrender, you stop listening to the mind dictating your life.
[38:10] You will be at the highest state that you can be when you choose to surrender.
