Luxury Residential Construction Specialist
BlackRock Construction has a new opening for a Luxury Residential Construction Specialist who will be responsible for creating an extraordinary client experience, while keeping track of the project by liaising between all BlackRock staff, vendors, sub contractors, site superintendents, and our clients during the home building process.
Buying or building a home is one of the most transformational experiences (as well as one of the most expensive purchases) people have in their life. As our Luxury Residential Specialist, you OWN the client experience and execution of each project from the minute the contract is signed, until you hand over the keys and welcome our clients into their new home.
This position requires a well-organized individual who is extremely detail-oriented and who has exceptional oral and written communication skills. Your daily activities will include checking in with the Project Manager on each project to ensure each project is on track, communicating the project progress with our clients, and relaying any client changes or requests back to the Project Manager. You are the first point of contact for our clients and will be responsible for making sure both they and our Construction Team are informed every step of the way. You are also responsible for hiring and managing all vendors and subcontractors, working with the Project Managers to create project timelines, creating floor plans, managing project estimates, on-site building management, and creating checklists for procedures, policies, and guidelines for all aspects of the Residential Division.

You’ll be directly reporting to BlackRock Construction’s President, while regularly collaborating with our other Project Managers, Superintendents, vendors, and clients.

You believe in controlling the conversation by asking questions, identifying the needs of all parties, and then working on a solution to get there. You do not avoid conflict or tough conversations.
- PROJECT MANAGER – You see the end goal and understand the steps it will take to get there. You are not afraid to speak up and manage up to ensure a project stays on track. When a timeline needs adjustment, you over communicate to all stakeholders. You manage the project, by managing expectations and communicating every step of the way.
- IMPLEMENTER – You are able to switch between tasks quickly and juggle multiple competing priorities with ease – in fact, you thrive on it. You love having a lot of projects going on at once and always tie up loose ends. You do not get stressed out by a long to-do list, nor do you resist swift change. You are able to synthesize the needs of the client with the needs of the team, and take action on the most important items that will help the project move forward on time and on budget. You are an accountable individual and own each project from start to finish. Ideas are nothing without implementation. You make things happen.
Luxury custom home building experience required.

BlackRock Construction was founded in 2012 and was just ranked on the Inc. 5000 list for the second year in a row. We have had strong growth, and expect that to continue, with over 800 units in the pipeline, including several large mixed-use developments, senior living facilities, and new home construction. We have placed a strong focus on the client experience in order to continue to develop communities and transform lives. We expect to add several more project management and superintendent positions over the next three years.
