Although alcohol sales went up during the pandemic, the pendulum has seemed to swing in the other direction. there seems to be an increase in more sober-curious individuals and sober initiatives in general, along with more mocktail and non-alcoholic beverage offerings at bars and restaurants. This week, Hallie and I looked at a recent study about chronic drinking and the negative effect it can have on everything from athletic performance, to sleep, spirituality, and healthspan. We also include some tips to think about if and when you decide to drink, and share personal stories about finding the right balance of alcohol and caffeine in our life.
